We went to Perdido last year. First time we’ve been to that area in 20 years. Damn it’s almost depressing all the condos (that I hypocritically contributed to last year) all along the coast. 20 years ago you could see beach for miles, now nothing but condos and houses.

As far as the victims I can’t imagine how terrifying that was. I seldom go more than knee deep out, I’m a lil bitch in the ocean and not embarrassed about it.

So alligators all over the South and salties from Queensland to Western Australia aren’t gaining population? Lmfao.

Actually the waters owners are killer whales and Aliens at the bottom of the ocean.

Never swim where there are sharks during their feeding window.

Exactly what happened to that poor baw who jumped off the high school cruise ship last year

yes you’re correct those two and only those two which is ironic (but maybe not) because they have benefited from a concerted protection effort and they can be monitored. Remember how easy it was though for both of those to be driven into near extinction

let’s not nitpick…sharks aren’t appearing at beaches suddenly be a there are more of them

Jesse Arbogast

I was in his class; happened a year before my parents moved us to Gonzales.

We lived a street over from the beach, my parents would let me and friends go ride our bikes to the beach and play all day by ourselves. I know when Jesse got attacked it shook us all really bad, even at that age.

When the local Oschner ER thought I had either a GI bleed or a ruptured spleen bleeding they life flighted me to BR.

Never saw any bill.

(Was false alarm and BR even arranged transportation home on a Sunday)

sharks are protected but their food is not.

Bull sharks are not protected in Florida. 1 per person, 2 per boat. Must be 54" fork to nose.
