thugs like these would be less willing to rob 20+ people if they thought there was multiple people with guns inside

You would be very surprised but I can see your point

They wouldn't be less willing until those with guns started killing them. Just the thought of guns wouldn't deter them.

What do you mean? I don't even understand his point.

Every person in the thread knows and understands that the police force is understaffed and over worked. That's not some revelation.

When gun play is a daily part of your life and the way you live yours, you likely wouldn't think twice about robbing someone else that's holding

As a regular concealed carrier, I'm thinking it would be tough to engage 3 armed villains in a crowded restaurant. You'd be able to end one threat and then bullets would probably start flying from the other 2.

Can we have threads on every violent crime in every city?

Thsts what I'm saying. It's not that the other person is holding. It's that they'll use the weapon they have.

There's a reason these burglaries are getting more ballsy and they're venturing further into affluent neighborhoods. It's in part because people in the ghetto have guns and they use them.

I wonder how long this shite is going to go on before housing prices in the city stop skyrocketing and tourists start going elsewhere.

This is a message board anchored in Louisiana with a huge segment of its daily posters living in and around new Orleans, but if you want to be a stupid dipshit, sure.

No one died and two of the guys were caught.

You'd rather have a couple deaths instead, potentially to innocent people? Good call.

I'd rather have the robbers dead and no innocents injured if I'm being honest.

lol except there is no hero in the city coming to help.

New Orleans needs it's own superhero though. What would he or she be called and what would their shtick be?

I'm sure it's worth risking a restaurant shootout to achieve that outcome.
