He's probably been in the ear of Mitch Landrieu in their secret meetings.

Taking it the vehicle is a bmx/huffy..or do we go full Monte Carlo on 24s?

Dep. Sargent Coonass does indeed live in mid-city.

He sometimes interacts with The Gent. A hipster by do who dresses as a 1800s gentlemen. The name is two fold as his a gentleman and a gentrifier. He forces slumlords and shitty residents to leave their homes, then buys them up with his dummy corp Fedorargyle. His dummy corp leases out the properties to young art students and barristas.

Worst case is someone tries to be a hero and pulls out his weapon. So he hits one of the guys at best while the other 2 open fire and shoot not only him but probably innocents. Especially considering these types typically aren't the best shooters. Anyone who thinks a concealed carry holder could have solved this is losing their mind.

I am going to disagree. Go online and look at some surveillance videos of these type robberies. The second someone offers armed resistance the criminals always head for the door. They are cowards and aren't going to stand there and shoot it out. My rule is this, when they tell people to either get on the floor or start herding people to the back I am going to start shooting. No way I am going to lay down and be executed. Besides, if everyone else is on the floor and I am up, I would say their chances of surviving a firefight are damn good.

Both. kind of. but not a bmx. a mongoose bicycle.

He modifies the trunk to pop out the mongoose whenever he stops. Cruises the streets looking for crimes, then pursues the criminals on his mongoose.

Be sure at the end of book 1, as he's going back home he stops to tell someone where they've got their shoes.

And police have to shoot a dog for an OT shout out.

If you want to be billy badass on a side street or something go for it, but you would have to be a full blown retard to do this under these circumstances

where are you seeing that two of the guys were caught? Uptown Messenger noted that in that same article that two guys who carjacked someone was arrested.

ETA:

Two teens, both 16, were arrested in the carjackings, but their names were not released because of their ages, according to NOPD reports. A third suspect managed to elude police, the reports state.

That was going to be my breaking point for ChoppaCopa.

Figured we could use a pitbull attack for a shoutout in the Dindu storyline.

THat could be his catch phrase.

For instance:

SOmeone murders a family at 1500 canal blvd.

Once Dindu finally catches them, in a dark alley, you see the criminals walking near a street light and you hear but dont see Dindu say "Bet i can tell you where you got them shoes" then he jumps out the shadows and beats them to a pulp. As he stands over them he looks directly into the camera and says "at 1500 canal blvd last Thursday night."

Fade to black.

So his sidekick is his pit bull?

Yeah in like the late second or third act of the first series, the cops can shoot his dog in front of him.

Maybe..also..maybe like, he finds out from his grandmother that his dad was killed on the job under mysterious circumstances, possibly His dad drove a street cleaner so it's some symbolic relevance.

Then in the 3rd season or series, we find out his dad is in fact alive and faked his death for insurance and to avoid paying child support.

Talked to a black state trooper a couple of weeks ago about his month down in New Orleans. He said the City has become a cesspool.

How deep we gonna go on this?

Maybe some flashbacks in the book to where he tries and fails to stop George Bush himself from blowing up the levee?

Dep. Sargent Coonass, as a cop, knows about Dindu.

One day he and his partner are responding to a domestic disturbance. Accross the street from the disturbance is Dindu and his dog. Coonass's partner shoots Dindu's dog and thats when he becomes ChoppaCopa.

Intertwining story lines.

ETA:

In a flashback we see that Coonass and his partner were on the scene the night Dindu's dad or brother was innocently gunned down. Unfortunately nothing ever came from it as Fergie Son started one of his protests and everyone forgot about the original purpose and the investigation just disappeared.
