Would he fun to make an OT/louisiana/New Orleans inspired satire comic.

Wed never run out of material as long as the ot is around. All the gems.

We could do so much shite. The celebrity cameos we could have..like, our hero hears a commotion in a dark alley way off franklin ave. Upon investigating he finds its just rough foreplay between Junior Galette and a tranny. He pays him off but still doesn't feel comfortable knowing someone knows. So he makes sure to get kicked off the team and out of the city. Etc.

They need to change the rule about officers having to live in NOLA.

They have. There is no such rule these days.

With concealed carry you pick your battles. Not sure this is a winning battle unless you have a clear advantage in some way to take out at least one or two very quickly.

And most concealed carry persons aren't equiped to handle multiple gunmen much less one.

Yeah. I carry a pocket-sized pistol. It's a last resort, not something I'd start a gunfight with.

Just relying on my common sense, they're robbing the place to get a few g's, not execute 20 people. No reason for me to escalate.

Not sure, it was before my time. probably started to trail off in the late 70s early 80s. It probably coincided with the break up of the unions in south Louisiana.

The problem is finding people that actually want to work for the NOPD. You deal with the dregs of society, have to put up with incompetent leadership, and many of the citizens hate you just for your profession. Plus the pay is shite for a fairly dangerous job. Who the hell would want to do that?
