Tell me you have never read a study on same sex parents compared to heterosexual parents without telling me you’ve never read a study.
Basically, as long as two people are there to raise the kid and be there then it doesn’t matter what sex, gender, sexual preference, direct relation to the child or what the two people are. Do better.

I’m not against gay couples having kids and believe a two parent household regardless is in the best interest but I’ve failed to see any studies that drill down the economic and support levels that gay households and heterosexual households have in comparison. I know plenty of gay couples that have children, their own and adopted and the one common thing that they share is economic stability.

I went down a rabbit hole a few years ago and my eyes were opened and my heart sickened by what I learned. Everything that's made news since then hasn't surprised me.

You know these are not just male on male abuses and you should also know that these step dads are often married to the mothers of the abused. So, I’m not sure this is really the strong argument that you think it is.
