Do you not understand the undertow on the backside of a weir? It sucks you down and will drown you.

Had no clue about these dams.

If you have no life jacket, you’re screwed.

If you have a life jacket you’re probably not buoyant enough to float but just too buoyant to use the “escape route” of crawling along the bottom to safety- also screwed.
