Anger over the police shooting of a Pride Alliance leader at Georgia Tech turned violent Monday night, as protesters attending a vigil on the campus set a police car ablaze.
Two police officers received minor injures and one of them was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, a Tech spokesman said.
Three people were arrested and charged with inciting a riot and battery of an officer. They were identified by authorities as Vincent Castillenti, Jacob Wilson, and Cassandra Monden. It was not immediately clear if they were students at Tech.
The parents of Scout Schultz - who had appeared earlier in the day with their attorney to question the deadly shooting - released a statement Monday night calling for calm.

Rioting over a person that ran at cops with a knife.
Christ on a cracker.
I hope all these people get protected and served

What the hell are they protesting about??? That fricking Shim wanted to die and gave the cops no other choice. When cops tell you 15 times to put the knife down, PUT THE frickING KNIFE DOWN.

This is exactly what that dead POS wanted. Suicide by cop so the whack jobs would treat his mentally disturbed arse as some kind of martyr. I called that as soon as it happened. I'm sure the cops that shot him will have his life completely ruined as well.
Thanks, trannies.

Should've just shot them too. And then invoice their families for the destruction they caused.

Walked towards a cop with a multipurpose tool If you watch the video.
This wasn't the cops fault but the police dept. The cops should have had either procedures for tazer or pepper spray to subdue non complaint people

I sure hope those cops are trained to shoot the weapons out of the hands of these peaceful rioters

I was about to ask if they threw rainbows. I see not.

Well this is just dumb
Looked like a knife I'm sure. you don't use tazer or pepper spray to put down someone that is about to use lethal force.

Most police departments use the 21 ft rule. If a deadly weapon is presented by a perp within 21 ft, your weapon should be out (not a taser).

No, this wasn't a cops fault nor police departments fault. This adult ignored police officers commands to drop the knife/ multitool and proceeded to continue to act like an idiot, yelling at officers to shoot him/her. It's time for people to accept responsibility for their actions. His parents want to blame the police and school but stated he has a history of depression and suicidal issues, having unsuccessfully tried to hang him/ herself a couple years ago. Maybe they should have done a better job parenting and/ or getting him the attention he needed/ wanted. The AJC reported earlier that he/ she called the police and told them a person was armed with a knife and a gun....why should the police have to wait for this deranged idiot to actually cause harm to someone? He got what he wanted and the liberal idiots are out in full force.
