I had shingles last year. The worst pain of my life. It was about 6 days of pure agony. I think the covid vaccine caused the outbreak even though doctor says “no”. I have refused boosters. . Haven’t had shingles vaccine yet but i was planning to get it but now I’m having doubts.

A doctor told me the second shingles vaccine shot is rough on people. It made him feel bad , and me too after I got it. Not terrible though, mainly just fatigued.

I’ve had Shingles you pussy. Sounds like you have a bout of “dick in your mouth”. Slowly taking the dick until it’s limp and you are cured. You’re welcome.

Why would you get a “vaccine” for a virus you’ve already been infected with… haven’t we gone over this logic before. It’s one of those shots they say well it might not be as bad if you do get it. Soon they won’t even make it because a whole new generation has never had chicken pox. I’ve had shingles twice

I had my first shingles outbreak in my early forties, it wasn’t bad, just uncomfortable. I had 4 subsequent outbreaks, again all weren’t nearly debilitating, only uncomfortable. Each outbreak was a four inch long swathe on the right side of my neck. So, I get the shingles vaccine and a few weeks later I had an outbreak that made me want to die. It was horrible. I had another outbreak about a year later that was equally horrific. I Haven’t had another episode since, but frick if I’m getting another shingles vaccine.

Shingles = thousands of fire ants stinging you beneath your skin as they try and chew their way to the surface.

Got my second shot at 1:00 on Tuesday. Started feeling bad 22 hrs later, and it only lasted for about 10 hours. Good to go today, for those keeping score.

I guess it's still better than the shingles.

Doesn't sound like it. I had shingles several years ago, took my Valtrex and had no real issues.

Shingles are the worst pain I have ever experienced. I should get vaxxed.

Don’t scare me away from this vaccine. I was lucky enough to get a mild case of shingles when I got it but don’t want to gamble with anything worse. I legit flipped my lid when it was advancing up my arm and neck. I was terrified it would get to my face and eyes.

My dad was finally talked into the shingles vax by the doctors at the VA after repeatedly refusing it. What followed was a six or 8 month battle with Shingles. About a year after the vax, he began experiencing extreme fatigue. Doctors then discovered his white blood cell count was dangerously low and that they had mutated. Repeated tests for cancer and leukemia all came back negative. He was under strict orders to remain home because even the smallest infection could be life threatening. You will not convince my dad otherwise that the shingles vaccine didn’t wreck his immune system.

Got my second one this year. Was much tougher on me than the first. The first was a breeze.

There's also a chance that the VA boned something up.

Why would the vaccine make your follicles hurt?
