I just don’t understand the point of pointing out alleged “white privilege”.
It is a rare white person who won’t say, “Yes. Blacks were mistreated for a long time and have had the deck stacked against them for hundreds of years.”
Pointing out perceived privilege offers no solutions. It’s just a means of establishing victimhood and attempting to inflict guilt upon people who have never owned slaves or discriminated.
The majority of white people also have no problem with minority scholarships and other opportunities afforded to people who can’t help the situation in which they were born.
However, if the point of bringing up privilege is to use it as a way to put unqualified people into positions because of race or to otherwise commit reverse discrimination to counterbalance previous discrimination, those motivations are invariably wrong and counterproductive.

Okay, my GF decides the TV thing sometimes, but we're still at 100%.
