I’m gonna save him some trouble

Eventually he’s gonna notice he’s fat and switch to vodka thinking he can save calories and lose weight and still get drunk

It doesn’t work, the difference in beer calories and vodka calories is pretty negligible. Most of the calories come from the alcohol molecule

Fifth of vodka/day drinker for an extended period of time.

My blood work was terrible 10 years ago.

Haven't had a drink since 2016. Labs are great now.

If 40 light beers a week gave people cirrhosis, half of the state would be on the tranplant list.

50 drinks/ week*52 weeks/yr*8yr = 20,800 drinks.

Damn, dude.

Yeah but couldn’t blood work identify high enzyme counts, which could be a sign of liver damage?

Correct. Then they'd most likely schedule an ultrasound, followed by more extensive blood work.

Has all the drinking made your life better? I’m guessing it’s made it worse. Why are you drinking at all!?

6 normal not cringe ipa beers a day is probably better for you than 6 cokes a day

I don’t think think this can even be argued, you have to be fat AF if you are drinking 6 cokes a day

A standard McDonald’s drink is 36 oz which I’m counting as 3 cokes

This thread is a bunch of coke drinking fast food eaters calling someone who has a couple beers after work an alcoholic

And he's overweight.

He first presented w/ a fatty liver.

Now, it's cirrhosis.

your schtick is old as frick. 40-50 drinks a week is a lot. I don't know a single person worth a shite that drinks that much a week.

Sorry to hear.

You may not see it now, but the drinking did contribute to the work situation as well.

Fix it now. Do not wait another 10 years.
