I hate driving through there to get to L'Auberge.....the sewage smell alone is bad enough.
We can relocate the sewage plant when we are cleaning up the debris.

I sincerely hope they find this man's killer. He seemed like a very good dude. Wrong place, wrong time.
Speedy said it. THIS is a much bigger problem than cop-killings...but the media just isn't interested, as it does not sell ads.

Damn his Facebook pages shows someone who was religious and seemed to be a good dude. Assuming it was wrong place at wrong time. RIP, Mr. Wright.

This happens way too often and it is sad. Same thing with the kid from McKinley (the QB).

Sewer plant isn't going anywhere. It was just expanded so they could close down the Central Sewer Plant between Downtown and LSU.

Yeah, I think St. George needs to rethink including Gardere in their proposed breakaway. Not much going for it, other than the casino I guess, which I'm sure has been annexed into BR if it wasn't already in BR.

Nope.... No one single word. I know you can never judge a book by the cover, but if he was anything like the person he appears as on Facebook then the community lost a decent human being. It's really ironic because they won't say a word about losing a good one, but fall to pieces over Alton Sterling.
I wonder what the circumstances involving this young man's death are? Anyone got details?

Well if the killer turns out to be a white guy or a non-white guy but with a white-sounding named, then we'll hear about it.

So was it thug on thug?

Exactly. If they really wanted to help their community, they would not put all their energy into a felon, who got shot by the police because he was reaching for his gun in attempt to shoot at them, to try to get away and would focus on the youth and help them seek opportunities to get out of these areas and be productive members of society.

They should be doing all they can to help police find this man's killer. Good men like that don't deserve to die at the hands of street thugs. Instead, they're still bitching about that fat frick Sterling. I honestly wonder if Gravy is so upset about Sterling because he mistook it as a police war on obesity.
