I remember it well.. i was living in CA at the time.. for the first time in my life, i actually drove down to Hollywood Blvd to where The Beatles ‘star’ was located on the walk of fame.. I dont believe George had his own star, maybe he does now… in any case, it was quite a gathering , with Beatle fans gathered en masse around the star to the point where they had to close down the street .. a couple people had guitars, there were singalongs .. I myself met a girl who was a singer in a band.. we were both young, in our 20s, and bonded over our favorite Beatle tunes.. she and i walked down to her grungy little dump of an apartment right off of H’wood Blvd.. it was quite a night .. long live George and John .. whenever Paul goes, it will most likely be the hardest hitting celebrity death for me, the most sentimental ill ever get about someone dying whom ive never met.. but i think Paul may be like Keith Richards and outlive us all .

Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty carried George's solo career. And it's all very sleepy.

George getting stabbed more than 40 times seems like forgotten news. Pretty close to two Beatles getting murdered. His family thinks it ultimately did him in since he had recovered from cancer pretty well before then and died less than 2 years later.

One day she met a musician at work that she felt she would have a better life with, so she left my buddy. She met the musician, George Harrison, in 1974 and married him in the late 70's.

My sweet lord, she thought he was so fine.

She had perfect legs. Feet on one end, vitamin P on the other.

She would have been 24-25 the year my buddy was banging her. He would have been 26-27.

Would 26 y.o. Kafka bang 76-year-old her, with her $300 million?

I honestly either completely forgot about this or somehow missed it. Just had to read up on it.

I recognize the legendary place they fit, but I am not a fan of their music. Just doesn’t jive with me.

I’m pretty dialed out of that whole era…

And that's cool. You don't call them overrated and realize their place in history.

This is a largely forgotten fact.

Olivia saved his life that night. Beat the attacker's head in w/a lamp.

He might.

I've long maintained that the day Sir James Paul McCartney leaves this realm.will be the day that the music truly dies.

Lost John in the 80s and George in the 00s.

Ringo has to know the click is ticking.
