Muhammad is supposed to have married Aisha at 6 and consummated the marriage at 9.
Now, in reality, I doubt that either Muhammad or Aisha actually existed at all. But it still is pretty fricked up that Muslims worship a fictional prophet who's supposed to have raped a young child in the fictional stories about him.

Gay priests and Catholic church obstruction are not helping. Pointing at other Christian churches is not.
Would be interesting to see real rate of immorality with children data by clergy who are allowed to marry and clergy who are not. God created Adam & Eve. Why some Christian faiths believe in marriage for their clergy and Catholics do not…the discrepancies of interpretation!?!?

Not sure about clergy - but a study by Charol Shakeshaft, reports that sexual abuse in schools is more than 100 times worse than it ever was in the Catholic Church and was reported to police even less. The article was referenced here:

To my knowledge, there has never been a celibacy requirement for school teachers that were not clergy.
