I think the big difference is your average catholic person is appalled by the pedophilia, some have even left the catholic church. While marrying kids is just a feature of Islam. And the only way to leave Islam is through death.

This will always be one of my favorite tactics of the left, and a major reason I left that demonic party.
We get it, you are going to defend your radical muslim allies at all costs. You will don the hijab when they demand it, just like your political heroes are doing today.
You will bend over backwards to deflect and defend this because these people vote with you.
As an atheist, I have never met a single Christian that supports the pedophile priests. In fact, when they are identified, Christians want them arrested. I've known people who left the Catholic church and wen non denominational over this.
Yet when your ilk are busted, you and others circle the wagons, defend them, hold parades for them, shame others who "don't understand" them, and then tell anyone who doesn't agree with you that they are in a "cult".

Okay. That’s certainly one opinion. I have a few follow-up questions tho:
By what objective standard are you ranking religions from “good” to “okay” to “bad” to “worst”?
If a religion produces both charitable, law-abiding people and violent extremists, which group is more representative of the religion?
Have atheistic governments ever committed atrocities? If so, does that make atheism “bad” too?
Is the problem religion itself, or the fact that human beings can corrupt any belief system?
What evidence would cause you to change your mind, or is your conclusion already fixed?

The problem is the Catholic church’s continued attempts to hide the pedophiles. Pastors go to jail, priests get a new diocese.
