I don't want us to kill every muslim on earth. But alan dershowitz on FNC just said it best. Everytime ISIS claims a terrorist attack we need to go after them and make them pay in a huge way - without caring about civilian casualties due to terrorists hiding within the population cause we need to put our citizens safety over theirs.

If they are aware of their actions and take no steps to stop them then yes, that would qualify as aiding.

There's some value in total war. I can't deny that. The way to defeat an enemy traditionally is destroying its center of gravity - its will to fight. But I'm not sure that tactic works against a nebulous, ideologically-driven entity like ISIS and it certainly serves to fuel extremism and can exacerbate the problem (and has over decades of garbage US foreign policy). I'm not sure what solution the American people have other than to let the Middle East rot, stay the frick away and ramp up (or continue to ramp up) immigration/vetting stringency.

That's a bit much. I fully understand they cannot be avoided in some cases, but I'd like to think we're at least trying to limit the impact on civilians.

One of the victims was an 8 year old girl.

Get the tomahawks ready.

@CBSNews CORRECTION: CBS News can confirm suspected Manchester attacker is 23-year-old Salman Abedi LINK

He was well known to Britain authorities and on the terror watch list.

MANCHESTER — CBS News can now confirm authorities believe the suspect responsible for the deadly Manchester Arena attack is 23-year-old Salman Abedi.

Authorities said the suspect is known to them, but wouldn’t release further details.

This comes just after ISIS claimed responsibility for the bombing which claimed the lives of 22 people, including children. Dozens others were injured.

A second 23-year-old was also arrested Tuesday in South Manchester.

Monday night’s attack was carried out by a lone suspect, but officials are trying to figure out who knew about the attack before hand and if there was a network of people helping.

Not sure if this is the same Salman Abedi, but it's the first thing I've seen on Twitter, so take it FWIW...

This is why terrorism will never end, because you want to do this, breed more and more generations of hate because you dont care who we kill as long as it looks like them. I'm all for going after those responsible, but you're just making the next man up with the way you're okay with doing things. The only way to eradicate ISIS or make it not be able to have the influence it does is put boots on the ground and eradicate them one by one which in these days just simply isn't acceptable to the American population with the casualties that will come it. Just cant really win either way.

The only thing we can do is level their strongholds as they pop up. It in no way shape or form will end terrorism. But any time they mass together and are able to form a defacto country as they have, they should be utterly and completely destroyed without prejudice.

Social media and the free flow of information and the ability to talk to people on real time across the globe has ensured there will be no end. As soon as you tear down their chain of command in one place, they will pop back up somewhere else.

So the question becomes do you say "frick it" and let them rule over themselves, embolden them, and let them grow and thrive? Or do you say not today, and level their strongholds as they pop up. Knowing that there will be no end?

It's a lose lose situation all around. And there is no clear answer on how to handle the situation.

There's a difference between post disaster anger and actually advocating for the extermination of all followers of a religion. You know that whether you want to admit it or not.

like I said

destroy their information, destroy the propaganda

you don't destroy an ideology with war, you destroy it with knowledge
