We assumed it was a gutter punk bc the NOPD scanner recordings that night described the two shooters as white males. This is not a shocking revelation. We knew the shooters white since Monday.

I bet white people are feeling the same way I felt once I found out the DC Sniper was black. I would have bet my life that it was a white dude. When they heard "shooting on Bourbon St.", no possible way they could be white.

Really? Seems like it would have came out sooner then. SS's theory was the shooters headed towards the River instead of towards the ghetto after shooting...therefore, gutter punk.
