Has it been verified that a train was passing?

I imagine that would be a fact that would give a specific time.

I’m all for carrying a handgun but in this case I don’t think it would have saved her. She was ambushed and murdered in cold blood. Probably wouldn’t have had time to reach for it.

Also, if someone kills one of these tPOS in self defense, all of a sudden they are being prosecuted with every one that knew him saying my baby was an angel and dindu nuffin. Lose-lose situation we are in.

Do you even armored car, bro?

Seriously, it's tragic and has to get fixed. I hate it for the citizens there that actually give a shite.

If people stop sending their kids to LSU, maybe it will force change.

Young women should travel in groups or at least pairs at night there. It shouldn't have to be that way, but there's a lot of terrible people out there and its just a reality in some places.

If youre not packing, at least go with a group.

I saw that in the original article but never saw confirmation.

I don't think anyone here is trying to say Africa is a great place. Weak justification.

But you’re ok for bashing Americans slave history?? When it’s the Africans that invented it, sold it to the world, and was the last to bam it. That’s ok. But BAD America for doing literally what every country in the world has done at one point or the other. Stupid fricking logic

Censorship. Just what we need more of. That’s why we are in the mess we are in. Today we call it “cancel culture.” How about you just run away from the heat in the kitchen and start a new thread Goebbels?

News said it appeared she had been turning around. So a train would make sense. It also explains why the broken glass was on the opposite side of the street that you’d expect if waiting for a train.

Railroads know exactly where the train is at all times. It will not be an issue finding out the times trains passed that intersection that night.

I thought BR installed gunshot monitors around which should have picked up the exact time

They did maybe 1-2 years ago. RealCrime monitors or something like that. A Camera program was also installed. I believe this whole incident was caught on video.

I hope they have some kind of camera footage. This person(s) who did this need to be off the street.

Someone, in this thread, said they knew that there were multiple crooks involved.

There are a bunch of abandoned houses within a few blocks where these criminal groups probably break in the back door and go in to party.
