Sorry if asked, can you not wear sunglasses with super cruise on?
Sunglasses are not a problem, but trying to read TD while camped in left lane with cruise set at 70 is!

Sle and slt trims eliminated? Well that answers the question if auto makers are going to build affordable cars and trucks. Guess these will start at $70,000.

The 5.3L isn’t having problems. It’s probably the most sold engine in the country between the GM SUVs and trucks. And there’s just not that much out there on post-2022 vehicles.
I’m not going to claim GM makes the most reliable vehicles and they certainly have their issues (6.2, lifters in 5.3 etc) but I do think some of the bad perception is due to the volume of full size trucks and SUVs they have on the road. Everyone of us knows people that have one so of course you’ll hear more about their issues
I am intrigued to see how the new 5.7 and 6.6 turn out.

Would look good riding in that at $1000/mo for 84mo
You're gonna have to put about 20% down to get that low of a payment baw

GMC went to the paw-paw old man look with all that chrome and old man styling.
What exactly do you mean? New trucks coming out of Detroit all look similar. And there is minimal difference between GM/Chevy.

Most of the Chevys I see have color-matched grills, very little if any chrome (unless you get the old man LTZ package) black rims, lift kits /leveling kits BFG’s etc. Chevy has the Trail Boss package which is what 1/2 of the ones I see are.
GMC’s don’t have any of that. All their grills are old man chrome, loaded out, automatic drop down steps, that funny tailgate with all the flips and flops. The interior is nice. Don’t get me wrong they’re nice trucks they just don’t have a cool factor about them. Way way way too much chrome.

Best looking truck on the road.

The 2027 models have almost no chrome
Which is a drag because I like chrome.

Man to each his own. My Dad has had 3 Silverados since 2021. Lifter issues yet he keeps going back to them. He’s 82 but he despises chrome which is why he got the RST packages. So he’s the exception to the rule, and I seriously doubt you’re 80, so I suspect you’re that exception also. That’s why they make all kinds. Cheers
Side note: I was a Chevy/GMC guy for over 30 years. Still own a Camaro SS and my wife wants one of those new Tahoe’s (or a Bronco). But what killed me on gen trucks was my last Silverado had that 5.3. In fairness I traded a Sierra 2500 6.0 gas burner for it, so I was expecting a little less oomph. But I’d had dozens of 350’s and even had a little Sierra 1500 with the little 4.8 and it was wicked fast. But that 5.3 was such a dog with throttle lag, lack of power, handling, etc. honestly I didn’t see the big whoop about them. Apparently it was some Eco 5.3 that was unbeknownst to me.
However, when I drove my first F150 with the Coyote all blacked out, I just haven’t really been back since. I’ll give the ‘27’s a ride before I pass judgment. Everyone has their own experience, and opinions. That’s what makes the world go round. Cheers!

It's been that way for years.

Ford discontinued the V-8 option for KR and Platinum F-150s . 3.5 V6 only.
XLT and Lariat can still get the 5.0.

I never understood why people get excited about new vehicles. Oh man the screen is 1.4 inches wider and the cup holder can now hold my wife’s owala let me go spend $50,000.
