People overspend their money on stupid shite every day. This is a great example. $158k on a depreciating asset.
By your logic every purchase in the history of man was worth the amount paid because “someone was willing to pay that for it.”

Before I would spend 150k on a "Bad arse" mom van, I'd certainly look at the other options available at that price. I can't think of a GM product worth 100k, except maybe a C8

Coworker bought a 80k Explorer ST for his wife, she had no idea what it was, all she wanted was an explorer. SHe's so fricking pissed at him.
She has no need for 140 mph car with 3rd row seats and certainly doesn't like the note. Shes a deputy commissioner and seems to have him by the balls on this one.

The escalade is in a class of its own for luxury suvs. There are no other options when taking into account interior room, towing capacity etc etc.
Unlike every other product GM makes, the escalade is really the market leader in its segment.
