This is top shelf advice, yet the downvote queers stopped sucking dick long enough to DV you. Why?

Intercooler housing cracked/broke or charging hose popped. Go straight to intercooler because this is exactly what the “boom” noise is like.

That’ll be $350.

It's almost good advice except there is no such thing as a 2022 Tundra with a V8.

Are you sure one of the johnson rods didn't escape through the side of the block?

Do you hear the starter attempting to turn over the engine very slowly?

You could've seized a bearing or thrown a rod.

Look underneath for oil residue.

I had a ford do that one time, and I found out the engine was blown.

Exhaust manifold blew out...probably around 100k miles. Probably took out something else with it. Will have to replace and you will need to go ahead and delete the DEF for the engine. Ultimately it will then run like a diesel and you will get much more power and better mpg.

Mine blew on the interstate pulling my camper. Not cool.

Look in the middle of your hood underneath and you will see where all the soot got blown. When mine went it almost blew a hole on the hood

It’s a Ford so there are a lot of common issues. But I’d start with the fuse box.

Assuming its a 6.7, Id bet money on the hose.

They make a helluva noise when they go.

Unfortunately, that's what I'm thinking. I hope it's just the intercooler for his sake.

Happened to me once but I’m not sure if it prevented my truck from restarting. I think I pulled over and was able to screw it back on

I’ve seen this problem before. The cause is that it’s a vehicle manufactured by Ford.

And for the love of God, don’t ghost us with the solution!! Post what it was.
