I think no matter what, it was going to be somewhat a disappointment. It will take a few years to get a decent selection of aftermarket parts to bulk up where FORD did not, if it even finds a niche other than soccer moms, and dyed tips crowd.
With such the wait and anticipation, FORD had a chance to hit it out of the park, which as I said, almost always leads to disappointment.

Looks like a FJ/Land Rover cross.
I'm sure EPA, safety rules etc. and so forth keep them from making it like the old school Bronco's.

I'm hoping for the best but expecting the worst when it is finally unveiled. It will probably wind up costing over $50k and in that case I will stick with 4Runner.

It basically lines up perfectly with a teaser they released earlier this year and it doesn't match previous Broncos.

Unfortunately there is zero chance they'd make a boxy, true SUV Bronco that also has a nice interior.
It's going to be either a crossover with Bronco branding or a FJ Cruiser knock off with a cheap interior designed to appeal to a 14 year old boy.
