re: 2017 Yukon XL

We are big fans of the Yukon XL. Put over 200,000 on the last one, and was great to have all the room on vacations. After the 2 oldest kids grew up, leaving us with just one (age 3), we traded in for a Traverse, and just not the same. We are buying a Yukon XL or Denali on the next purchase, as my wife loved it, and regrets trading it in on a new vehicle. Also, it was great with kids, and all the accessories now, made long trips more tolerable.

We bought the 2017 Yukon XL for my wife in Obsidian, (dark gray) and love it. Lots of great features and great ride on long trips. I didn't want to pay $14k extra for the Denali, so I got a buddy in the parts Dept. to order the Denali grill and switch it out for $350.00.

Well I don't need my ego propped up by vehicle status.
You have more than three kids your stupid if you don't get a minivan. At least when they are at the carseat stage. Two big fricking auto sliding doors is a lifesaver. Especially in a tight parking slot.
All that and 25mpg.

Yukon Denalis are nice trucks. You'd be very happy with it.
The one in my link is not a Denali it is a SLE. Big difference in price. But that is still a good price.

Honky Lips, re: 2004 Yukon still rolling near flawlessly at 200K+ miles with minor maintenance through its 13 years.... Several friends have had similar success with theirs and Sierra's a s well. nuff said.

yep. i refuse to pay the Baton Rouge prices. Bulk dealers in Houston like Mack Haik will always beat these jackwagons over here

Yukon Denali is a great choice.
I've had great luck with GMC trucks.

Had two suburbans and three Silverado's and they were CONSTANTLY in the shop. Bought a decked out armada and it's been flawless. Not one issue.

Great vehicles, and they last a good 200k-300k miles if you maintain them.
They ride and tow much better than those newer crossovers.

I got a 2003 Suburban LT new off the lot and it is still running strong 220K miles later. Keep good oil in there and maintain everything and they will last you until the children are in and out of college.
Congrats on the baby.

I've owned a 97 chevy Silverado, 03 Tahoe, 07 GMC sierra, and a 14 sierra.
I put well over a 100,000 miles on the 97, 03, and 07 vehicles. I still own the 07 and the 14. I have easily driven over 400k miles combined between those 4 vehicles. I sold the 07 truck to a friend and he is still driving it daily with over 250k miles on it.
Other than a recall here and there, the only time I had to put any of those in the shop is for a driver side power seat motor in the 03 Tahoe.

Just hope and pray the A.C. condensor doesn't fail. They are on back order and takes about 8wks to get 1 in. No aftermarket ones available either.

Buy your wife a minivan, it's what she needs since she can't park a big truck anyway.

Not sure about the SUV, but either you need to invest in cable, condoms or both?

Op seems like a good deal. But dont settle. You can do better. I just bought a 2017 gmc pickup this week. Sticker was 56k, and by the time i signed paperwork they had came down to 41k. They have alot of wiggle room, be firm, be patient.
