Oh sure, sure. That’s what you guys were doing. Standing in line. Makes perfect sense and no doubt everyone’s story is the same/

As it should...IF they carry out similar acts

But somehow colleges look the other way.
I wouldn't say that. When I was at LSU, I couldn't even pledge the fraternity I wanted to because they were suspended. I had to pledge a graduate chapter.

Not sure if BRG Mid City still has their ER open but that would be closest.
Also got Ochsner at Oneal Lane.

How do people not know this is a thing? It has happened multiple times, and I remember another incident where a woman died from the same thing competing in some radio station contest
Bout 10 years ago a high school football player in MS. I think Brookhaven area? Died from drinking too much water too fast. Had a seizure and never recovered.
ETA: Found it

Jackson Prep football player Walker Wilbanks died from a severe loss of sodium that caused water to build up on his brain, his doctor said late Monday. Joe Pressler, the high school junior's lead physician at University of Mississippi Medical Center, said the sodium-water imbalance caused Wilbanks' brain to swell, which led to his death. Pressler said Wilbanks died at 12:42 p.m. Monday

Sounds like a terminal case of Omega brotherhood.

Yea this is pretty common. You’ll see a ton of NFL players with a horshoe’s branded on them.
His was a huge variation of the letter E. Took up his entire shoulder and upper arm. I asked him why in the hell he would let them brand him like that and he said he felt like he had too since he was one of the biggest names in the frat. Dude had a wild life story.
Stud ball player for baylor...coach got canned for giving him a plagiarized paper to turn in for a grade. Transfered to osu and blew out his knees. Ended up playing ball overseas in Israel. Lost every thing and settled down only to be murdered by his wife's ex husband.

As well as cause crawfish prices to go up.

Yes
Many articles on the subject

The woman who died from drinking water during a radio contest was a single mother who wanted to buy her son a video game console. The radio station in question was in Sacramento. The contest was aired during a morning radio show. Major lawsuit along with firings. So sad.

Is this one of those frats that brands members?

Stranger things have happened. My cousin died during a frat event at LSU from drinking too much water.
We played quarters with water one day when we were like 12. Our mother freaked out, we had drank gallons.
I think you can really mess up your sodium and potassium levels yeah? Very dangerous.

Yes. I’ve experienced it myself by hydrating without electrolytes while playing in extreme heat. The brain fog is closely followed by unconsciousness and can lead to coma and death. I now take potassium and magnesium supplements to exercise in extreme heat.

He was doing really well but unfortunately him and his wife were murdered in 2007. His wife's ex husband basically waited for them and killed them both.
