My wife has family in St. Cloud, MN. I am shocked that there arent any cities from the midwest.

Most places in the midwest wouldn't qualify as "cities". They're more like small townships where there's only two last names and everyone is addicted to oxycontin.

Definitely a lot of fatties in the midwest, but I don't think anything tops the deep south

I'm not buying it unless you're telling me they looked out west or anywhere outside the south.

If it's me, I'm doing the study only in the South because it's so beautiful and I would never want to leave. Oh and the food is really good in the South too! And there's so much of it! And I'd really never need to leave because there's so much good food!! And it all tastes better with butter and all fried up and battered! And the sweet tea is awesome!

But you do have to tell me if they even looked out west.

If the south wasn't full of disgusting ignorant fatties, it would definitely be the best region

A lot of these studies are nothing more than telephone interviews. What was found out, that in some of the fat cities up north (Minnesota/Wisconsin, cold/harsh winter states) people lied about their weight.

Go spend some time in Wisconsin and you will have serious question with this list. Their diet consist of beer, sausages and cheese.

Their drinking culture is well ingrained into their day to day life even more so than a place like New Orleans. Definitely more than the Baptist bible towns of the south. You get 8oz of beer with a Bloody Mary

I seriously doubt they have zero towns on the list.

Don't assume all fat people are poor. Your fat co-worker with diabetes and your fat aunt with hip and knee problems cost you just as much in increased insurance premiums as the poors do in taxes.
