re: 2 million covid-19 vaccinations now administered. How many severe reactions?

Well, shite, didn't happen on TD, so it must not have happened. Come on man
quote:Your “if” presumption is wrong. Once enough people are vaccinated, the restrictions will go away. That’s part of the point, as well as reducing the prevalence of the virus that makes people sick to varying degrees up to and including death.
If getting the vaccine doesn't prevent you from still getting the virus, and we will also still be required to wear masks and social distance...what's the fricking point?
quote:Such a stupid stance. What’s does work mean with each? No one says masks or social distancing alone will work to eliminate the virus. Because we know how viruses spread, they can clearly help slow the spread. As for the vaccine, the early evidence is that the two available in the US work really well.
Either the masks work or they don't. Either social distancing works or it doesn't. Either the vaccine will work, or it won't.
quote:Were aren’t once the vaccine is effectively distributed.
If we are still going to be in lockdown types of environments
quote:You can believe this and still understand that getting the vaccine makes sense.
People are so fixated on the "case numbers", they forget there are other negative side effects of lock downs and letting government control what they have been controlling.

Friends,
It was a simple question. Does anyone know how many severe reactions there were? Are we talking five, ten, twenty? How many deaths? It seems that for a population wanting to end a viral pandemic and all the consequences that come with it, a vaccine against that virus would be welcomed.
Yours,
TulaneLSU

It only gives you pause because you don’t understand it.
It’s mRNA which is translated in the cytoplasm. It doesn’t get near your DNA which is safely inside the nucleus. It doesn’t change anything or really “hijack” anything- that word implies the machinery can’t be used for anything else.
It gives your cell a blueprint to make proteins. Your cell makes proteins. Your body remembers the proteins to attack them again later. Your body will never again make those proteins once those cells use the blueprints once.
Yes, the technology itself can be used to do funky shite but so can any medical technology. All drugs are basically small doses of poison that we give you to do something we consider “therapeutic” before it turns into a problem.

Simple, accept the fact that this virus is going to kill people. Leave the country open and let the virus run its course.
Here we are a year later, and we are supposedly still seeing surging numbers. The lockdowns were not worth it.

this is what happens when really average mid-wits get indoctrinated by an industry that is ultimately completely corrupted and self serving.
the amount of nurse-bois and drunk- sloot nurses who are now intellectually gifted as it refers to explaining complex biological shite like this is hilarious and nothing short of a psychological field day for anyone analyzing the behavior.

2 million first shots. Of course they aren’t gonna put the bad stuff in the first one. Let’s see how the next few weeks play out.

Friend,
You have the floor. Please explain to us how this vaccine produced by several independent drug companies is part of a greater plan to inject us with biotechnology to control us. I want the details.

Or, it could be that lots of people still gathered in groups for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our cases started surging right after Thanksgiving.

If such a small number of Covid deaths is unacceptable I would also think a small number of sever reactions is unacceptable as well, no?
There are severe reactions to nearly every medication available.
I'm betting you and everyone else has a bottle of Tylenol in your cabinet. Have you read the potential side effects of that? If that drug were to be released today it'd scare the hell out of a lot of people. But it's been around for decades so no one cares.

Did you just compare someone dying to an allergic reaction?

it does hijack your body's own genetic processes and materials to basically manufacture some hopefully-impotent facsimile of the virus itself
