re: 2 juvenile drive-by suspects arrested. Between them, they're wearing 5 ankle monitors

Tony Clayton addressed this problem a few years ago as well. Alabama refuses to take our juvenile offenders because they are so bad, they don’t want to deal with them. Think about that. They’re so bad, we can’t pay enough to get rid of them.

My solution
Ankle monitor embedded in a 30 pound concrete block and attached to the leg with a shackle and chain

They let them go because there is no place to put them. Louisiana doesn’t have adequate juvenile offender facilities and other states are not taking our money to house them.
So it’s catch and release. And a little bit of theatrics by the media and an elected official.

Last summer, WBRZ detailed complaints from other officials on the west side of the Mississippi River who voiced concerns after 14 of Louisiana's most troubled kids were kicked out of a juvenile diversion facility in Dothan, Ala.
"We were basically told that to come get them and never are we to send another juvenile to Alabama," Major Zack Simmers said last year. "They don't want the state's money."
it isn't that we don't want the money, but maybe it is more deal with your own fricking problem and stop sending them to other states and taking an "out of sight, out of mind" approach. we have our own frickign problems

"Young people telling them they can't do you nothing," Sheriff Brett Stassi said two years ago. "They ain't going to be able to do nothing. It's coming true because we have no place to put them."
Absolutely the MAIN problem is the US, today.
Criminals are running & ruining our Country. Fu** the liberals.

If you're a juvenile with multiple ankle monitors, it's an indication you can't be fixed.

The names of the juveniles involved in the drive-by were not released due to their ages.
This needs to change.

Okay and why aren’t they being charged as adults in the first place? It’s murder

As long as it's one of those "neck monitors" that Brad Pitt wore at the end of The Counselor
