Whether or not I think what they said is the truth or not, why is it wholly implausible for a southern man, in this current climate, and with this nation's history, to throw a racial epithet at (young) minority males?

the coach needs to get canned. The kids need to lose their seasons (not their careers) and the ref shouldn't ref again. That ref is also supposed to be a leader of men and boys.

Whether they are supposed to walk away from it or not (they are supposed to), doesn't negate that fact that the ref is a scum bag POS himself and preyed on children. Not gonna have me defending that worthless POS because one persons actions were more physically harmful.

Wish I could disagree but based I just not know how this is totally out of the real of possibilities.

As if the whole notion of the "race card" didnt actually come from a place where people were actually throw it out there for actual instances of racism

You got proof of this? That's a hefty claim. We have video of the red being attacked, where is proof he 'preyed' on them?

It is possible, but not very likely. Of course it's possible.. but why would he only do it in this game alone? They should have filed an actual complaint, not take physical violence into their own hands.

I just don't buy it given their actions. The players and coached involved seem very immature .

I think I heard another ref may have admitted that ref used inappropriate words. Is there any truth to it?

My point though is they still should not resort to this kind of violence. It is not worth ruining your career over someone who is potentially so ignorant.
