I don't trust drug dogs at all. There is a reason their legitimacy is being challenged in courts across the country.
If in simply watching Live PD one can see multiple instances of false hits by those dogs, how many times does it happen every day? It is no different than the, "I smell marijuana, please step out of the car so I can search it" bullshite. In fact, the smell of marijuana has been struck down as a reason for probable cause in at least one state. An officer simply cannot prove he smelled something.

Until a drug dog "hits" on your vehicle, then the officer spends the next 30-45 minutes combing through your shite and finds not a damn thing to warrant the search.
