Bill was probably the most conservative president we have had since Reagan.
He literally sold America out to China and we're reaping the benefits of that now, hell, we've been doing that for the last 20 years.
And here's what we have to show for it.
- Economically depressed states in the rust belt and the south with so many jobs shipped to China.
- So much of our supply chain in the lands of our biggest geopolitical and economic foe.
- Hundreds of billions of dollars worth in IP theft and trade secrets being stolen.
- Chinese espionage everywhere in our schools, government agencies, American corporations, and so on.
- Our corporations, politicians and media turning into whores for Communist China.
Bill Clinton was a great friend to China.

You had me until that awful Barenaked Ladies song.
I was 2 years out of college and just starting to make enough money that I had a decent amount of disposable income. Of course I spent most of it on frivolous shite, but I did do a fair amount of traveling. Pretty good year, all in all.

A thin white woman was considered the ideal of beauty. As it should be.

Unfortunately JNCO Jeans had their highest sales in 98'. Maybe that was a sign it was all coming to an end?...

That Nokia phone worked
I think my first cell phone was in 2001. This thing was a tank.

I kept mine forever. Never bothered with a razor. Just kept rocking the brick.

Having an iPhone is nice but it would have been ever nicer to top out at AOL internet and Nokia cell phones. They are all we ever really needed.

Besides having time to remodel your house while waiting for an internet page to load, the 90s was a great decade. The music was awesome too

No thanks. Glad we got somewhat away from this.Give me Jessica Beal or Scarjo if you want to use attractive white, voluptuous like people use to do in 60s along with alicia keys, salma hayek etc.

I agree 100%, except for google maps on phone. I would hate to go back to printing out directions from mapquest or using a real map.
The way it was then was that the internet/AOL was a big part of our lives, but only when we made the conscious choice to go to the computer desk and and invest a few minutes into dialing in first. Now it’s just 24/7 connectivity and much harder to portion control internet consumption. Plus social media was pretty much nonexistent to the mainstream which was great.

Wasn't Brittney in 99?
Her first album came out in 99 but Baby One More Time single came out in ‘98.

90’s were great. Just enough technology, but no social media/drama.

Good lord, Metal Gear Solid. I spent a whole winter break playing that game.

Give me the 70s
Yeah. Nixon, the oil crisis, stagnant economy, Jimmy Carter, divorce rates skyrocketing, crime on the rise...all great.
