According to a missive about running for State Senate he says

quote:

North Baton Rouge is my home. I was born in this community, raised here, and started my journey here. For the past few years I’ve dedicated my life to helping ring the alarm on the issues our community faces. Because I grew up here, I remember when you didn’t have to drive miles to go to a decent grocery store.

Exactly. Black people did not wear Mexican tuxedos in the 90s

“This is offensive” said NO ONE ever

What it’s really about is chasing down whitey. Nothing more.

Is this for real, an undercover operation? So the BRPD has an annual yearbook complete w/ behind the scenes undercover sting photos? I legit had to check if I was reading the Onion. No way those disguises fooled anyone. This is so weird. I find it very hard to believe this wasn't some tasteless joke not a sting operation.

They’re undercover. Can I get offended at anyone dressing like a heroin addicted white guy?

No

About every 15 years or so, a 3rd party company will offer to make and sell what is basically a scrapbook of photos from around the department. They sell to officers of that department. But you can find them on eBay and shite now

And that sting, was covered and reported on by the media at the time of the U/C operation. Gravy trying to make this out to be some sort of discovery of secret info is hilarious

This is so stupid.

Billy Crystal did black face to portray his good friend Sammy Davis Jr on an SNL skit with JESSE JACKSON of all people.

Neither of them cared and Jackson was running for President. If Jackson wasn't offended then, I don't see why anyone should be today.

I have watched documentaries on why black face is wrong and I still fail to see it as racist. It all depends upon context.

I don't care when Chappelle dresses up as white face and makes white people look like nerds and cucks.

Interesting, this makes senses. I still can't imagine these disguises being effective in a real world operation. The targets of this sting must have already been high AF if it worked. That's some Wile E. Coyote level stuff "ACME drug sting disguise kit."
