Someone will talk, someone will get suspicious.
Cops will pick a bunch of people up and one will crack with enough info to get one of the perps or perp to crack eventually.

Face and nose? She was "pretty" and she rejected them. They forced oral sex on her and then made her swallow lighter fluid and burned her face to pay her back. Just my take.

The road the car was on is Herron Rd. west of Hwy 51. Herron Rd. only has a couple of houses and is mostly timber land and a few bean fields. I'm surprised it was called in as quickly as it was.

Yeah I'm wondering about the first call... unless I missed something in the article. She sure could not have made the call. I'm familiar with the area I think. Or at least the exit off I55. It's pretty isolated.

Liz if your take is correct if I am that girl's father those perpetrators when found die before they see the courtroom. I have a 15 year old daughter and I could not sleep at night knowing that was the way she died. frick that. Poor girl and god bless her family.

Maybe, maybe not... I remember another horrific double murderer case in Knoxville TN. The couple were carjacked and kidnapped by strangers, and what happened to them were incomprehensible cruel, horrendous, and beyond nightmarish.
Regardless, if this girl's killers were known to her or not, the cruelest torture will be too gentle for these animals.
I would design much more exotic 'penance' for these killers from a medical/surgical standpoint (f the Hippocratic Oath) :
1. inject them with enough chemotherapy agents to kill their bone marrow, thus no immune system and no ability generate blood cells.
2. infect them with a cocktail of bacteria, not lethal enough to cause a quick septic death, but a slow consumption:
Pseudomonas,Clostridium perfringens, Klebsiella, E.coli cause necrotizing infections like gangrene google images.
Clostridium Tetani to induce full body tetanus which had been known to break bones from the muscle spasms google images.
Neisseria meningitidis to cause meningitis and a condition called meningococcemia google image.
Well you get the idea... The main point is that these infections can be treated with antibiotics and surgical debridement before it becomes fatal. Thus if the infections appeared to be fulminate, the scumbags get pumped full for antibiotics and get whatever surgically removed.
Let the them recover enough to be aware, then repeat...
(maybe there is something wrong with me... but if this happen to my daughter... I could keep this process up and the scumbags alive for months.)
