Yeah, when I bought my 15 Silverado and they had a $10,000 off sticker on the side of it.. They still made money... 
Sticker price was $46 and some change.. Obviously got it for 36

I've said in here for years, the $10K they advertise is just a starting point. People laughed.
It's what keeps these manufacturers afloat.
Mine "stickered" at $53K, i paid $37.5K, and they still made money. My guess is their costs in a truck like mine are probably $25-30K to manufacture. A little more for higher trim levels.

I want to say I saw an article a couple of years ago with Ford showing about $14K per truck. That didn't include SUV's I don't think.

That's why I never buy a brand new vehicle. You can buy one that a year or two old with less than 20k miles on it and save a ton of money. You find them baws that can't afford that note anymore and get one for cheap.
