most times i see best buy do this its just one or 2 TVs and thats it, sold out you missed it, but hey, while you are here look at all the other great deals we have

You are correct. I was there yesterday and the sales guy flat out told me unless you're camping out you won't get one and said if you want to buy a TV there are other good deals (which there are). It served its purpose as it got me to go in and check it out.

It probably grays out if you are watching it from an angle, like from a side couch or whatnot.

Speaking of TV deals, I feel like we had some thread about this type of sale last year that was somehow dramatic. I don't remember what it was, though.
EDIT: I think it was something to do with a glitch on the Walmart website that caused the price to be super low and one of our fellow members bought it during the glitch and wasn't sure if Walmart would actually give it to them for that price. I don't remember the outcome.
