17-year-old New Orleans boy with coronavirus dies, LDH says; first reported death under 36

The teenager is the first person younger than 36 with COVID-19 to die in Louisiana. As of Thursday, there had been at least 83 deaths in the state from COVID-19, with the victims ranging between 17 and 98 years old.

Even if not, there are always statistical outliers. Not to be callous, but it doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things. Not like 17 year olds should all be preparing to die if they get covid

I'm not in the medical field, but it seems strange that they would go ahead and add him to the coronavirus tally if they're still investigating the cause of death. Is that SOP?

It seems like the Coroner's Office is saying STFU because he hasn't reported the cause of death.
If someone has the corona and they are involved in a auto accident and are decapitated, is the cause of death Covid19 or motor vehicular accident?
