Oh, that's scary!
The article says they don't know if he went voluntarily or was abducted... but they found his car where the shooting occurred.
I'd say the chances of him traveling with these dudes voluntarily is slim to no fuggin way.

I can’t imagine the horror of a parent having a child go missing and then finding their abandoned vehicle. That has got to be torture.

She received a text from him saying he was shot and 4 Hispanics were involved. Seems weird he had time to text her all of this information after being shot and before being abducted. Hope he’s fine but seems a little fishy.

Who was that girl in Alabama that pretended to be abducted. Not saying that 100% happened here but something seems off...

Looking at updates this morning
apparently the text said "Mom,I'm shot....4 men....white van" and phone was found smashed outside of his truck
Like you said either something is fishy or he had a few seconds between getting shot/run off the road and taken to at least get some info out knowing he was about to be fricked

Not the first such hoax that has been perpetrated. When I was young a HS senior was dared to fall down and act sick. He did it and was too scared to fess up. They took him to the hospital. The doctor figured it out.

Carlee Russell. She said she was abducted by people who used a toddler as bait and she was kept in an 18 wheeler and driven around by an orange haired man. They fed her Cheetos, if I remember correctly.
