It’s happened throughout history.

Be conquerers or be conquered.

You sound like a fricking caveman dude.

The bigger dog likes to eat the smaller dog's poop, so really I'm still just cleaning up for two. And eventually the kid will learn to shite in a toilet.

No kids here at 41. No plans to have them either. Never had the urge. I’m selfish and I’m okay with that. I’ve lived a great life that’s allowed me to see the world.

To sit there and say those of us with no kids will die alone is preposterous. First, everyone dies alone. Secondly, half the folk in homes have kids who don’t call or visit. It sounds like you’re relying on a crutch because you’re afraid of being alone.

As for grandkids..you can keep em. I’d rather be golfing in Arizona or Hawaii.

I have my friends and my dogs. Life is good.

Dude, I don't know what kinda grandchildren you have. But I have literally never heard of any grandchild I've ever known or heard of, that told their grandparent they were stupid, became ungrateful, or unappreciative brats. Not towards their grandparents.

I can only deduce you are truly a piece of shite as not only a parent, but also as a grandfather. You ever think maybe they're right?

Anyway, prayers sent.

Look at Europe.

You have places that not that long ago were populated by people native to that country.
And now the area is overrun with foreigners.

It’s the same principle that has always existed.

What have I said that is untrue?

And even I understand these simple, immutable principles that have been proven time and time again throughout history.

When you're spouse decides to cheat and/or leave you, everybody else will give zerofricks about you.

At least if you have a kid, they might care about you.

Hopefully she doesn’t brainwash the kid.

OK? People move about. Some reproduce with themselves. Some reproduce with natives of other areas. What exactly is your point? I'm not a part of any "tribe". The existence of me and my immediate family is a spec of dust in a vast beach of the sands of time. Not everything is some kind of cultural war, no matter how much that shite gets you hard.

Luckily people can have both.

Not sure why people who don't have kids think those that do cannot do the things they want to do anymore.

If you're really young, under 30, and want to plan to have children as best as you can then this may be a good plan for you. Especially if you aren't up to the challenge. Remember to have children you should be all in for them, not you. The children should not miss out so that you can continue to be irresponsible and live out your delayed childhood. It that's not you, great! You may be on your way to being a responsible parent one day. But if you never have kids, by choice not biology, then please don't expect sympathy later in life from those who put in the time and effort to produce productive kids who come to see about their aging parents. Live out your choices and don't be bitter if it turns out not to be really great on the back end. But, hey, you had fun snorkeling with the dolphins and taking a spur of the moment trip to Paris. Those memories should keep you happy, right?

My point is that it isn’t happening naturally. It’s by design.
It’s anti-Darwin. The encouragement of breeding on the backs of others in certain populations and the discouraging of breeding by those most able to actually provide for their offspring doesn’t strike you as odd? Have you seen idiocracy ?

That doesn't last. Eventually your friends have families of their own, and while they are still friends, hanging out with the guys isn't as important anymore.

Have kids or don't have kids, it's your choice. But what people are stating about kids is FACT. You don't realize how great having kids, is, until you have your own. You can be happy, no kids, vacations, etc... But there is a certain spot in your soul that no amount of vacations can never fill.

To scoff at that is scoffing at biology. Children aren't some new fad. Reproducing is something ALL of God's creatures do.

Anecdote: Walking through the grocery store 2 days ago and as me and my 4 1/2 year old boy walk past the beer aisle, my 4 year old stops in mid sentence and yells out, "Daddy, did you hear me fart?" Everyone around was cracking up.

Secondly, parents don't need articles from Time magazine to confirm how great kids are.
