Easy to figure out. Just look up the registered owners of all the 150-wheeler trucks in the area.

This guy is in India, but we should still check his alibi

Is anyone else tired of pun threads? Let's tap the brakes before this one gets on a roll.

Because they're exhausting. I'm just trying to steer this thread back on topic.

Can't we rotate through a few more before we look at where this crime stems from?

yep, they'll rotate them out of the local market to avoid the pressure from the local fuzz

but seriously though, getting them out of the local area would be a safety valve to avoid pressure unless they intend to ply the local law enforcement some sort of kickbacks

update:

SLIDELL, La. —
The Slidell Police Department is searching for suspects wanted in connection with the theft of dozens of tires from Matt Bowers Slidell car dealership.

According to Bowers, the theft happened Saturday morning at 3 a.m.

Bowers said the suspects came into the dealership with a U-haul truck, cut the lock with bolt cutters and within 45 minutes stole 134 wheels and tires off 31 cars.

Bowers said he is offering a lucrative cash award for information on the suspects.

"I will stop at nothing to find these suspects," Bowers said.

Bowers and the Slidell Police Department are holding a press conference Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Slidell.

Not sure if already mentioned, but this has happened 3 times that I know of just south of Shreveport. Ford dealership hit twice and a new Chevy dealership once.

Not positive, but I don't believe they were inside jobs. just a lot of casing it out and having the right guys and equipment.

The Chevy place is right on the interstate. You can't see behind the building at all from the road. Pretty easy to set up shop and never be noticed.
