My daughter was very troubled during her teen years. Thankfully, through medication and therapy, she is WAY better than she was. During one of her episodes, we actually had to call the police. The whole time I wondered if it could somehow escalate to a shooting. As a parent with a kid that's out of control and a danger to themselves and others, what do you do? You need help, but the police aren't necessarily the best medium to provide that help. Not sure what the answer is.

I work with a woman that has Aspergers. She been with us for over 20 years. Hard working, never complains. She is a bit socially awkward but not unpleasant and mostly just keeps to herself. I also have an autistic family member that is a lazy loud mouthed shite head and is a complete a-hole that no one wants to be around.

They did. The second link I posted had video from their telecast. There is a ton of video from newscasts if you go through the pages and pages of links on a simple search.
