Need to know whether he was fleeing armed, etc. I know the mom said he was unarmed, but there are a lot of details between the call from the mom to the pulling of the trigger that are missing. If it happened exactly like the story reads, this is a bad look.

You all want so badly to be a victim it’s scary. Time to log off the internet and in engage the real world, bud.

Jesus Christ. They have.

But once they had, it’s been pretty quiet about it after a day or so, why?

They did. The second link I posted had video from their telecast. There is a ton of video from newscasts if you go through the pages and pages of links on a simple search.

Eh very little amount and was basically stopped being covered and no one has any outrage for this? A young kid with autism too?!!

I’d like to know why a cop shoots a criminal, they get a march
Cop shots a kid with autism, and they don’t add his name to the people who have been shot by police

ETA: have amended words

Y'all being so butthurt and outraged each time just plays right into their hands. Y'all can't see the forest for the trees.

Keep moving goal posts. “Not being covered” to “No televised coverage” to “Not being covered enough” to “Not enough public outrage”

Can we talk about how stupid this mom is and how she got her son shot? Almost soundslike she set him up.

There’s suicide by cop. Maybe this an example of attempted murder by cop.

All of these instances are different. People are clearly outraged by this shooting.

I haven’t seen much about it

Do we have this child’s name all over the professional and college sports leagues?
Protesting/marching in Utah?

In an ideal world, anytime someone calls and say it's a mental illness thing, a trained therapist could go with them, but I just don't know how feasible that is.
it's not... but know what is? paying cops MORE, so we have a better pool of talent to hire from, rather than scraping the bottom of the barrel for ex-HS jocks and military flameouts, MORE money for more extensive and adequate training, MORE social engagement/outreach via programs geared towards youth and family events by police forces, hold "bad" police to task with a tier reprimand system, etc....
