Between July 2 and 5, SPD arrested 13 people for drunk driving.

driving while intoxicated is trashy
Some dude drove drunk or high to pick his kid up from the middle school in my town. He ended up getting his vehicle stuck in the bus lane and hit 1 or 2 of the busses trying to get out. It was his 3rd or 4th offense.

I've got an uncle that's been fighting addiction for a while. He's up to 7-8 DUIs now, I believe.
No idea why they didn't snatch his license/keys at some point.

I had a cousin that got 4 and spent like 20 years in jail. Think he actually died in jail.
Knew another guy that has gotten 6-7 and hasn't spent more than a couple days in jail.
It's certainly a flawed system.
