That guy wasn't even in the group that was plotting the kidnap.
He just let them use his property and gave other assistance. Which is why he's only facing state charges, and not federal charges like the other men who actually were involved in the plot.

First, I am not jumping on you individually.
This right here is a big part of "our" problem today. "We" attribute the actions of a person or a relatively small group of people to everyone in the country that voted for candidates with the same letter next to their name. That is so fricking stupid.
The fact that early on many felt the need to try to defend them just because of that relationship is a huge indicator about where we are at. I also don't blame anyone because the way we have become just being red or blue paints you with a brush you may well not deserve and saying you don't agree does no good, you both voted for X therefore you share everyone of the same ideas. This is driving us closer and closer to the true hive minds.
These are bad people. I don't care if they suck Republican or Democratic dick. Whichever way they swing the people that try to attribute their thoughts or actions to everyone else that votes blue or red or some third party are 100% the children in the room.
