AND OBAMA TOOK THE CREDIT
NO satire, no bias -- it was reported at the time that the first thing BO's handlers did when they got the news was map out how BO himself could maximize credit for the killing
Shortly afterward I saw David Letterman, formerly a comedian, say something like "Only one man could have killed Osama Bin Laden -- and that man is Barack Obama"

A Green Beret, Delta Force operator and SEAL walk into a bar. The Green Beret orders a beer, Delta orders a whiskey, and the SEAL writes a book about it

thinking Bin Laden wasn't killed is second only to flat earth as dumbest conspiracy theories out there.
Those fricks would love nothing more than embarrassing the US if that wasn't the case. why the hell would they go along with these conspiracy
You are the most indoctrinated sob on this message board. You swallow everything and anything anybody in a white coat gives you. You and your 17 upvoters..

Bin Laden, the former CIA asset and whose family was business partners with the Bush's, died of Kidney failure in late 2001.

Unfortunately If that were to happen today I think about 1/3 of the country would be upset and protest.
There would also be a third claiming it’s fake

Guarantee that if it had happened under Trump there would be those saying we should have let Pakistan know we were coming into their airspace, should have taken him alive, etc. etc
As I recall, I remember that this scenario came up during the Obama/McCain debates and it was McCain that admonished Obama for stating he would violate Pakistani sovereignty by making an incursion into Pakistan without telling them to capture OBL if he was there.
I could misremember, but there was the thinking Pakistan was an imperfect ally that we should communicate with on something like this. Now, was McCain's position his real or political position? Who knows. But knowing what we know about where OBL was located, Obama's decision to ice out the Pakistanis was correct.

Bin Laden died of Marfan disease. That was not the real one killed

You can be just as indoctrinated into believing nothing. In the end the two types have the same weakness.
I just had some fun in the International Spy Museum, and they had an interesting interactive exhibit about what info was available and whether it was actionable. Apparently, most in the room that night thought there was at best a 60% chance that it was him at the compound.
In the end everyone involved is just a human and the real throughline is much more squiggly and hesitant than any script.
I have no doubt many lies are told, but some of these conspiracy theories are hysterical in their superhuman villains and plots.

In this case, the Seals were disappeared. They knew too much.

Was frangible ammunition used in this raid for a specific reason? Or does DEVGRU always use frangible rounds in this type situation?

I am embarrassed thst adult American males actually believe the federal gov't. The Founding Fathers are rolling over in their graves. A nation of cucks now.
