First if all, I support this post!
Don’t sweat it when other people give you crap about posting thoughts like this. Everybody is fighting their own battle out there in the world.
I know a guy who has successfully quit drugs, alcohol and then smoking. It’s had a huge effect on his outlook on life.
My theory is just to reduce, reduce, reduce until the final act is not such a shock. It’s working really well and at this point the only thing I really enjoy is coffee cigarette combo in the morning.
My body can’t even finish a third alcoholic drink in one evening. 2 max.
Getting older is in many ways a blessing. Teaches you to listen to your body better.
Best if luck in 2026 to the OP.

Take lessons from a golf instructor!!
The advice you are getting on this board is basically the opposite of what would solve your problem.
The general public is very confused about golf.

Total overreaction on my part but I’m beginning to think:
Deep State is letting Donald J Trump know who is in charge here.

As a golf instructor I can only encourage you to try taking some instruction.
Talk to some local people and find someone who HAS PERSONALLY MADE IMPROVEMENT WITH THE ADVICE OF A PRO.
Then take a package of lessons from his Pro. Most decent Pros will give you a break on the price if they know it’s not a “one and done”.
Then do whatever the guy tells you to do and don’t give him that “I’m the customer so I have the right to be a pain in the arse” attitude.
Do not make his job harder than it needs to be.
If after 6-8 weeks you don’t see a dramatic improvement then find another Pro.
Stick w it. Good golf is one of h the most satisfying experiences in life.
I never played baseball but I had a friend in college who did. I asked him one what it feels like to hit a home run.
“It feels like you’re gonna live forever” is what said.
Winning money on a golf course is kind of like that.

This mindset is blind to the fact that at the higher levels there is a lot of “collusion” between the decision makers.
We shipped gold to the Soviet Union as well as nuclear weapon technology to them to make sure we had a credible enemy to justify military expenditures.
-apologies, didn’t copy the post I was replying to….”why didn’t the Communist call us out for faking the moon landings.”

That was really helpful. I can’t remember as young man ever being told that you need to be “liked”. It was more like:
1)behave yourself
2)always compete as hard as you can-if you lose then it’s still ok….you did your best.
3)try to recognise the truth
Chics ever get told that growing up?

Totally wrong.
And…..we can’t get a human being to the moon now. You think they could do it in the late 60’s though???
Radiation would’ve fried the living daylights out of those guys.
So, I will just leave you w one question. Have you watched the press conference after the astronauts returned from the Moon? Those people are plainly lying their asses off.

That really is the question. Why does our govt allow a private bank to create our money??

I’m 53 and single for probably 7 or 8 years now. Was pretty brutal emotionally bailing on the dating scene but I have gotten used to it now and am thankful for the peace and quiet I enjoy. Finances also easy as can be. Just me and my hobbies.
Would have loved to have had kids but the women out there are totally insane and untrustworthy.
It is what it is

The same group of people that believe Russia has gone to the trouble of getting help from N Korea prob also believe that Putin is scared of Trump. I saw that headline on the internet the other.
-if I read it on my screen, it must be true.
P.s. I no longer have to get up and go to work. Make money from home! Ask me how!

re: Hackmotion - Anyone tried it?

In regard to the comment: “that’s not what Hackmotion does”.
I believe this statement. It’s amazing how in golf threads you can have people making completely irrelevant comments. People are so confused by the tsunami of info out there. It’s can be really exhausting. I work at a golf equipment store and it’s breathtaking to watch. My favorite thing is whenever they see a screw in a clubhead they always ask if they can take it out.
But then again I just did it too….irrelevant info…..lol

While I agree w your main point that the evil bastards are very intelligent lets not forget they stole the last election blatantly. Also, the push through most of their liberal agenda through corrupt courts. Gay Marriage for example I don't think would win a majority in any state. Also unrestricted abortion rights. They are winning because they control the levers of power.

re: Legit ways to speed up pace of play?
Posted by czechtiger on 12/27/22 at 3:23 pm to BabyTac
Easiest way to speed up pace of play is for the club to have other sources of revenue. This allows the club to raise prices and space out tee times properly. 8 minutes between starting tines is not enough to avoid backups.

I'd be curious to know these stats are obtained indoor or outdoor? Trackman indoor routinely gives distances that would never be the case in real life/outdoor.
