Why use synthetic?

For that price it seems about right.

No because he claims I park cars for a living and won't tell me what he does for a living. I know he has a shitty job and it would give me great pleasure to frick with him about it. I mean he is crying about an oil change that is $100. My cousin pays that and he works on a garbage truck so I know Tigerlee probably works at Lowes or some shite.

jiffy lube ranges from $40-65, but they do it really quickly. Dealer gives you a deal but you wait an hour or two. not worth it.

do you know most places allow you to bring your own oil and then just charge you for the filter and labor and its less than $20? Now you know

Can I bring my own to the Take 5 at Perkins and Bluebonnet. They are quick and do the little shite like fluids an stuff. Wasn't bad for last car and 5w-20. But now with 0w-20 synthetic, I would rather change my own oil again or bring it instead of paying $56 for 4cyl oil change.

A 5,000 mile dealer service on a Harley will cost you anywhere from $200 - $300 dollars. Quit your bitchin'.

Not every synthetic, but also not for everyone, and not for every engine. I run my shite hard, and usually go between 5500 and 7500 before an oil change

Ford dealership where I bought my truck uses synthetic and a tire rotation for $38 since I bought my vehicle from them.

Dealer loyalty comes in handy.

I was charged $90 on my Tacoma a while back. I have since started doing my own which I haven't done in a number of years. $35 is what it costs using valvoline synthetic and a good filter.

Do you have a penis? If so, change your own oil.
