The body of Quinnyon Wimberly, one of the two men trapped in the Hard Rock Hotel collapse in October, was recovered Saturday after 10 months.

Unbelieveable that it took 10 months. Rest in peace, sir.

The third body (second one "trapped"), there is no timeline to remove, as that is going to be a much harder one to get to.

What’s the timeline for doing something about the site in general?

I remember walking past that area during parade season thinking it was travesty how long he’d been up there.

Terrible situation.

The family got 10 free buffet passes once they get open.

Typical 2020 NOLA shite, more and more like Montego Bay erryday.

Yeah, that's fricking inexcusable, honestly

The fact that the place looks almost exactly like it did the day after it happened (minus a couple of cranes) is just as absurd.

They removed thousands of bodies and tons of debris in six months at the World Trade Center after 9/11. That was seven buildings of which the smallest was much larger than the Kailas Kollapse. It also involved removing thousands of damaged cars and dealing with miles of destroyed streets.

Hot dug bun feet took 10 months to remove two bodies from a partial collapse.

It’s embarrassing, pathetic, and really a damn shame.

Even more infuriating, I’m sure Tha Destroya is going to try to dress this up as a victory and moving this city in the right direction.

Any opposing candidate running against her come election time is doing themselves a disservice not utilizing this event.
