I think he realized people just don't care anymore about covid. He did an amazing job when it was important to people.

These total death numbers are ridiculously inflated

WHERE IN THE HELL are they still finding people to test? Our nursing home is testing employees only ...
Oh and #covidjail
Oh and #covidjail

+20 in vents seems strange, esp when all other numbers are stable/dropping.
ETA: Region 4 (Acadiana) is up FORTY-ONE vents.... that has to be a typo

Are they testing dead people? Serious question. I mean a person in a hospital/nursing homes family could never know that they were tested I guess. Would be crappy but I guess it could happen.

Yes. I'm serious that if I died from a gun shot and tested positive for COVID, I would be listed as a COVID death.

My Grandpa is still tested weekly & staff is still being tested twice a week
20,711 tests reported today
5,059 reported yesterday
26,269 tests reported Sunday
Those #’s are insane
It has to be jails & nursing homes & hospital intakes

Why not?
They are burying other people that died of Covid
Was this recent?
I’m not doubting you, just curious as to the reasoning

Flu numbers are down over 90%. Any free thinker will realize these numbers are beyond inflated to the point of fake.

Last 3 days
2084 positives out of 52,039 tests
I would like a breakdown of testing
% nursing homes
% jails
% hospitals
% people going to testing centers
I’m still waiting for clarification on how many people are currently employed at the convention center & if the state parks are still in use & the associated costs

Flu numbers are down 97% because people are taking extra precautions and many of the schools have sanitation companies come and clean daily.
So many testing numbers because employers require them or people going on a trip need to get tested. My numbers dont count for Louisiana but have been tested 14 times since July.
Also hospitals test for each new visit. My wife had to be tested for a lab workup and bloodwork then two weeks later tested again for knee evaluation.
I do expect testing numbers to go up when the all inclusive covid, flu, and RSV test is available in a a couple weeks.

I know you are getting the info from the DHH, but I was wondering if would be difficult to determine how many people died with COVID vs died OF COVID?
