Yeah, and there’s probably going to be some true Arctic air coming in behind this system. If there is a major ice storm somewhere, and there are a lot of power outages, it’s going to be a humanitarian crisis if there are single digit temps while there are possibly millions of power outages.

For Alabama folks, I highly recommend watching Spann’s morning and afternoon weather briefings each day. Lots of detail, but he explains it in a way everyone can understand.

Upon further Google AI review, Glen Campbell didn't write the song, but he was the artist who performed it.
The author, Jimmy Webb, was apparently inspired to write it after witnessing linemen working in the Oklahoma panhandle.
