Yep. Looks like it shifted a bit south again.

Just tell us what you think will happen, so we know to expect the opposite.

Short range models handle these events a lot better. Starting tonight those short range models should start coming into play.

The fact that the NAM model doesn’t play fortunate son when you play the loop makes them irrelevant to me

Y'all can say what you want. I'm walking a tight rope here in north AL. We may wind up dealing with the Snow/ice/sleet transition line and have a mix of everything. The overnight trend may have been better for us than the prior day, but it is going to be close unless we get a shift farther north. We are currently under a Winter Storm Watch.

12z Euro delayed for some reason.

Things are trending more snowy up here. GFS shifted the northern edge about 200 miles North.

Really struggling if I should cancel trip to Atlanta this weekend.

Hotel cancel penalties kick in at 11:59 pm tonight.

No word on flight waivers for Frontier yet

Going for a baby shower. Most attendees are local to ATL. Latest updates showing ATL proper may be in clear but it’s close.

Any advice would be appreciated especially by smart weather people or people local to ATL.

Storm of the century

Does anyone like me hate this term?

Everyone seems to use as it a cliche or go to term to heighten the severity of a storm.
Well the snow storm that we had here in the south exactly a year ago today was actually a storm of the century since it hadn’t snowed like that here since like 1895.

I am just going to assume school districts in a few states will wait until tomorrow to decide about Friday. Just a guess
