Been married for over 20 years If I learned anything its to let your wife/SO win all the small fights and when you really feel strongly about put your foot down. This way she will know ‘ damn he is seriously mad this time’ That being said I don’t know about doghouse but our biggest fights are when she volunteers ‘us’ on the weekends to go help people do something or go to something I have no interest in. I work hard all week ,don’t volunteer me for shite without asking
