Point out in this thread where I said anything about wanting to draft Cunningham. You can't. I honestly don't know what to make of him. He has the speed you want for a LB in coverage but he is not the strongest against the run. I just do not want Foster because of his medical history & I feel he will have problems in reading NFL offenses presnap.

Solution: hold out for Beckwith/Jarrad Davis

Beckwith

The problem with taking Beckwith is will he be ready for rookie camp in May? As a MLB, he has a lot to learn in terms of calls & the learning process starts with rookie camp. Peat wasn't able to attend his rookie year & we saw the negative effect it had on him the first half of his rookie year.

From what I've heard his recovery has gone well. I don't know if he'll be ready by May but there won't be much of an adjustment period at all for him considering he's a native and camp will be in Metry. He strikes me as a pretty intelligent guy as well. Even if he isn't 100% he'll be able to line up, run, etc. Just not a lot of contact.

I can find out Tuesday morning just how well his recovery is going. Will report back what I hear then.

And you're a Bama fan? Interesting.

I just don't see a guy that makes as many hard hits as he does playing in the NFL for that long.

The topic being discussed was why it took Foster so long to crack the starting line up at Alabama & his medical history.

Okay so why bump this. What does it have to do with the saints in 2019? I'm generally curious.
